Training and experience
I have trained in a number of different therapeutic approaches. I now offer an integrative approach to therapy which combines my various trainings in person-centred, mindfulness, CBT (Metanoia College), and psychodynamic psychotherapy (Westminster Pastoral Foundation). My approach is tailored to what each individual brings to therapy.
I have also trained as a supervisor with Clare Soloway at CPPD, and currently supervise therapists at Fleet Counselling in Belsize Park as well as working with individual supervisees.
I have worked for various organisations including: Ealing Abbey Counselling Service, St Christopher’s Hospice and Metanoia Counselling and Psychotherapy service. I am also a trained bereavement counsellor and worked for four years at the Camden, City, Islington and Westminster Bereavement Service.
Appointments, Ethics and Fees
I am a member of the BACP and abide by its ethical framework and am fully insured and CAB checked. I offer daytime and evening appointments – and occasionally weekend ones by agreement. As well as my standard fee of £50 per session, I also offer low-cost counselling to students and those who are financially stretched. I offer short-term therapy (6 – 12 sessions) and also longer term therapy.
